If you've been looking for a way to have your deck stand out from the crowd, Magic the Gathering alterations, or altered cards, are a way of making your deck as unique and as impressive as it can be! An altered Magic card is a card on which the original art has been modified or expended. It can be borderless, textless, have features or characters added to the card, or even completely modified.
Local gamer and artist, Ruth Toomey, created the altered cards below, and she is taking commissions. A selection of her lands will soon be on sale at the Whiz as well. You might have seen some of her work around the store already!
